1 Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, accessing, or using Grately, you are deemed to have agreed to these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the service.
2 Service Overview
Grately is a journaling app designed to support daily gratitude writing and emotional reflection. The service may include features such as writing three gratitude items, free-form notes, mood and emoji selection, calendar review, timeline browsing, stats, reminders, theme changes, app icon selection, app lock, ad-supported free use, and optional premium features. The service currently does not require separate account registration, and most user-created content is stored locally on the user's device.
3 License to Use the Service
The operator grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable license to use Grately on devices that you lawfully own or control, solely for personal and non-commercial purposes.
4 User Content and Local Storage
You are responsible for the gratitude entries, free-form notes, mood information, emoji selections, settings, and other content or outcomes you create or store through Grately. Because most service data is stored locally, you are responsible for device security, device changes, app deletion, and the risk of local data loss. The operator does not currently provide a developer-managed cloud sync or recovery service for user journal content.
5 Premium Features, Free Trials, Advertising, and Billing
Grately may offer optional premium features such as ad removal, mood and emoji stats, extra themes, custom app icons, and app lock. Free trials, subscriptions, one-time purchases, product configuration, and pricing may be governed by the in-app purchase information or app marketplace listing available at the time of use. The free version may display various types of advertisements, including banner, native, and interstitial formats. Billing, purchase restoration, cancellation, and refunds are handled in accordance with applicable law and the policies of app marketplace operators such as the Apple App Store and Google Play.
6 Permissions and Device Features
The service may use permissions and device features provided by the operating system, including notification permission for reminders and device-authentication or biometric features for app lock. You may decline such permission requests, but doing so may limit or prevent certain features from functioning properly.
7 Prohibited Conduct
You may not interfere with the normal operation of the service, attempt unauthorized access, abnormally bypass advertising or premium flows, reverse engineer the app beyond what is permitted by applicable law, infringe the rights of others, or engage in any conduct that violates applicable law or public order and morals.
8 Service Availability, Changes, and Suspension
The operator may update, modify, restrict, or discontinue all or part of the service. Certain features may be temporarily or permanently limited due to maintenance, device conditions, network status, app marketplace policies, or third-party service outages. You may stop using the service at any time by uninstalling the app.
9 Third-Party Services
The service may rely on third-party services or platform features such as Google AdMob, Apple App Store, Google Play Billing, operating-system notification services, operating-system authentication services, and review-prompt functionality. Changes in policy, outages, discontinuation, or billing practices for those services may be outside the operator's control.
10 Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability
The service is provided on an as-is basis to the extent permitted by applicable law. To the extent allowed by law, the operator may limit liability for data loss, feature restrictions, or usage-related damages arising from the user's device, operating system, network conditions, third-party services, app deletion, device changes, denied permissions, or user fault.
