1 Article 1. Purpose
These Terms of Service govern the rights, obligations, and responsibilities between the operator and users in connection with the use of the Pommo mobile application and its associated services (hereinafter "Service") provided by the operator.
2 Article 2. Definitions
The terms used in these Terms of Service are defined as follows: 1. "Service" refers to the Pommo app provided by the operator and all features offered within it, including chat-style memo creation, photo/video/file attachments, app lock, theme/font settings, backup import/export, advertising, and paid feature access. 2. "User" refers to any person who installs or uses the Service in accordance with these Terms. 3. "Content" refers to all information that a user inputs, stores, attaches, or creates within the Service, including memos, chat room names, images, videos, files, links, and settings. 4. "Paid Service" refers to features provided by the operator for a fee that are accessible through in-app purchases, including ad removal, theme features, premium features, and donation features. 5. "App Store" refers to external platforms used for payment and distribution of the Service, such as Apple App Store and Google Play.
3 Article 3. Effect and Amendment of Terms
1. These Terms take effect upon being posted in a manner accessible to users, such as within the Service, on the app store listing page, or on a webpage operated by the operator. 2. The operator may amend these Terms within the limits permitted by applicable law. 3. When amending these Terms, the operator will specify the effective date and reason for the amendment and provide notice through an in-app announcement or equivalent method prior to the effective date. 4. As a general rule, changes unfavorable to users will be announced at least 30 days before the effective date; all other changes will be announced at least 7 days in advance. 5. If a user does not agree to the amended Terms, they may discontinue use of the Service and uninstall the application. Matters requiring separate consent under applicable law shall be governed by such law.
4 Article 4. Description of the Service
1. The Service is a chat-style memo application for personal note-taking and record management. 2. The main features of the Service include: Creating, editing, and deleting chat rooms Writing and editing text memos Attaching and viewing photos, videos, and files Link detection and opening links via external apps App lock (PIN) configuration Personalization settings including themes, colors, fonts, and backgrounds Exporting and importing local backup files Displaying advertisements in the free version and purchasing paid features 3. The Service can be used without a separate account registration and does not currently include a developer-operated cloud sync feature. 4. The operator may modify, add, or discontinue certain features of the Service as needed for quality improvement, technical requirements, changes in operating policy, or changes in app store or operating system policies.
5 Article 5. Formation of Service Agreement and Conditions of Use
1. By installing, downloading, or using the Service, a user is deemed to have agreed to these Terms and the Privacy Policy. 2. Use of the Service may require external conditions such as an internet connection, a compatible device, a supported operating system version, sufficient storage, and an app store account. The operator is not responsible for any restrictions on use arising from failure to meet such conditions, except where attributable to the operator. 3. Where a minor purchases a Paid Service, the consent of a legal guardian may be required in accordance with applicable law.
6 Article 6. User Obligations
Users must not engage in any of the following activities while using the Service: 1. Storing, attaching, distributing, or using content that violates applicable laws or public order and morals 2. Uploading or sharing content that infringes upon the copyright, portrait rights, personal information, or other rights of third parties 3. Using materials such as malware, illegal files, or harmful links that may cause harm to the Service or third parties 4. Interfering with the normal operation of the application, or attempting to abnormally bypass or tamper with ad display, purchase verification, lock functionality, or other features 5. Infringing upon the intellectual property rights of the operator or third parties 6. Any other conduct that violates applicable laws or the operator's policies Users are responsible for maintaining the security of their own devices, safeguarding backup files, managing their app store accounts, and exercising caution when accessing external links.
7 Article 7. Permissions, Device Features, and Third-Party Integrations
1. The Service may use device permissions or operating system features for purposes such as photo/video/file attachments, backup import/export, and advertising. 2. Users may decline permission requests; however, doing so may limit or disable certain features. 3. The Service may integrate with the following third-party services or platforms: Google AdMob RevenueCat Apple App Store Google Play Photo library, file picker, and external link functionality provided by each operating system 4. The use of third-party services may be subject to the terms and policies of the respective providers. The operator is not responsible for any outages, policy changes, or discontinuation of third-party services, except where attributable to the operator.
8 Article 8. Paid Services, Payments, and Cancellation
1. The operator displays the types, prices, and descriptions of Paid Services within the application. The actual amount charged is based on the price shown in the app store at the time of purchase. 2. As of April 8, 2026, the Service operates on the basis of the following one-time in-app purchase products: pommo_premium: Ad removal + theme features pommo_ad_removal: Ad removal pommo_theme: Theme features pommo_donation: Consumable donation product 3. pommo_premium, pommo_ad_removal, and pommo_theme are non-consumable products and may support restoration within the same app store account. 4. pommo_donation is a consumable product that may be treated as used immediately upon purchase and is generally not eligible for restoration. 5. Payment processing, cancellations, receipts, taxes, currency conversion, payment method authorization, and app store account status may be subject to the policies of the respective app store and payment provider. 6. User cancellations, refunds, and contract terminations are governed by applicable law and app store policies. However, due to the nature of products that provide immediate access to digital content or paid features, the right of cancellation may be limited to the extent permitted by law. 7. Where a Paid Service is defective or not provided due to reasons attributable to the operator, the operator will issue a refund or take appropriate action in accordance with applicable law.
9 Article 9. Advertising
1. Users of the free version may be shown advertisements within the Service. 2. Users who purchase the ad removal Paid Service will have advertisements suppressed within the scope defined by the operator's policies. 3. Advertisements may be provided by third-party advertising networks. The content, display format, and tracking settings of advertisements may vary depending on the user's device settings, operating system policies, and third-party policies. 4. Responsibility for any transactions, use, or damages arising from external services accessed through advertisements or external links rests with the respective external service provider. The operator is not liable except where attributable to the operator.
10 Article 10. Content Storage, Backup, and Data Management
1. Most memos and attachments saved in the Service are stored locally on the user's device. 2. The operator does not provide a developer-operated cloud sync service for user memo content. 3. When a user exports a backup file, the file is saved to the storage location selected by the user, and the user is responsible for managing it. 4. Importing a backup file may replace local data currently stored on the device — including memos, chat rooms, attachments, fonts, and themes — with the contents of the backup. 5. Based on the current implementation of the application, purchase information and password-related information may not be included in backup restoration. 6. The operator is not responsible for data loss resulting from device failure, operating system errors, insufficient storage, account issues, user error, loss of a backup file, or security vulnerabilities at an external storage location, except where attributable to the operator.
11 Article 11. Intellectual Property Rights
1. All intellectual property rights in and to the Service, app design, logos, images, text, source code, databases, and related materials belong to the operator or the respective rightful owner. 2. Rights and responsibilities over content stored by a user within the Service rest with that user or the respective rightful owner. 3. The operator does not use a user's locally stored memo content for any purpose beyond what is necessary to provide the Service. 4. Users may not reproduce, distribute, sell, lease, reverse engineer, create derivative works of, or otherwise exploit the Service without the prior written consent of the operator, except as permitted by applicable law.
12 Article 12. Operator Obligations
1. The operator endeavors to comply with applicable laws and these Terms and to provide the Service in a stable manner. 2. In the event of a significant outage or security issue with the Service, the operator will make reasonable efforts to investigate and resolve it. 3. The operator processes users' personal information in accordance with applicable law and the Privacy Policy. 4. When a legitimate inquiry or feedback is received from a user, the operator endeavors to address it within a reasonable time.
13 Article 13. Modification, Suspension, and Restriction of the Service
1. The operator may modify or temporarily suspend all or part of the Service for any of the following reasons: System inspection, maintenance, updates, or security response is required Changes occur in the policies of the operating system, app store, payment provider, or third-party services Force majeure events occur, such as natural disasters, communication failures, or changes in device manufacturer or platform policies 2. The operator will provide advance notice to the extent reasonably practicable; however, in unavoidable circumstances such as emergency outages or security responses, notice may be given after the fact. 3. If a user interferes with the normal operation of the Service by violating these Terms or applicable law, the operator may restrict the user's access to the Service or decline to provide customer support to the extent necessary.
14 Article 14. Liability and Disclaimer
1. The operator and users are each liable for damages caused to the other party due to their own fault, in accordance with applicable law. 2. With respect to portions of the Service provided free of charge, the operator does not warrant the completeness, continuity, or fitness for a particular purpose of the Service, except in cases of special circumstances. 3. The operator is not liable for damages arising from the following causes, except in cases of the operator's willful misconduct or gross negligence: Loss, malfunction, replacement, insufficient storage, or operating system issues on the user's device User-initiated deletion, misuse of backup features, or inadequate management of external storage media Third-party service outages, app store policy changes, or the use of external links or external files Damages caused by a user's violation of applicable law or these Terms 4. The operator does not limit users' rights or disclaim liability to any extent not permitted by applicable law.
15 Article 15. Privacy
The operator processes users' personal information in accordance with applicable law and the separately published Privacy Policy. Specific details regarding the handling of personal information are governed by the Privacy Policy.
16 Article 16. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
1. These Terms shall be interpreted and governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea. 2. In the event of a dispute between the operator and a user arising from the use of the Service, the parties shall first endeavor to resolve the matter through good-faith negotiation. 3. For disputes that cannot be resolved through negotiation, the competent court under applicable law, including the Civil Procedure Act of the Republic of Korea, shall have exclusive jurisdiction as the court of first instance.
