1 Overview
Pommo is a chat-style personal memo application. Users can create memo rooms, write text memos, attach photos, videos, and files, configure notifications, customize chat themes, and manage font, language, and lock settings. This application does not require account registration and does not operate a developer-managed cloud server for user memo content. Most content created by users is stored locally on the user's device.
2 Collection and Use of Personal Information
The developer does not directly collect or store memo content written by users within the application, nor operate a remote database for such purposes. Depending on the features selected by the user, the application may process the following information on-device: Memo room names, memo text, and memo timestamp information Photos, videos, and file attachments selected by the user Profile images, background images, font files, theme settings, language settings, and app lock settings Purchase status information for unlocking paid features
3 Camera, Photos, Files, and Notification Access
The application may request access to the photo library, camera, and files in order to support user-initiated features such as media attachments, adding font files, exporting backups, and importing backups. Content selected or created through these permissions is stored locally on the user's device unless the user explicitly chooses to export it. The developer does not independently upload or access such content.
4 Third-Party Services
The application may use the following third-party services: Google AdMob (advertising in the free version) RevenueCat (payment and purchase entitlement management) Apple App Store / Google Play Billing (in-app purchase processing and restoration) Operating system platform services for local notifications, media selection, and file selection These third-party services may automatically process information such as device identifiers, advertising IDs, payment information, IP addresses, and app usage data in accordance with their respective privacy policies. The developer does not control the data processing practices independently carried out by these providers.
5 Data Storage
Memo content, attachments, and most settings are stored locally on the user's device. If the user chooses to export a backup, the backup file is saved to the location specified by the user. The developer does not provide a proprietary cloud backup or sync server for such content.
6 Data Sharing
The developer does not sell personal information. Third-party providers may process data only to the extent necessary to deliver advertising, payment processing, purchase restoration, and platform functionality.
7 Protection of Children's Privacy
This application is not directed primarily at children under the age of 13, and the developer does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
8 Data Retention
As the developer does not operate a remote server for user memo content, no remote retention by the developer takes place. Users may delete local data by removing individual chat rooms, memos, or attachments, deleting backup files they manage themselves, or uninstalling the application.
9 Security
The application relies on on-device storage and operating system permission controls. While reasonable measures are taken to support secure operation, no method of storage or transmission can guarantee absolute security.
10 Changes to This Policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated as necessary due to changes in features, legal requirements, or third-party services. Any changes will be reflected on this page with a revised effective date.
