1 Service Overview

Melo is a mobile app for recording your daily mood and reflecting on your rhythm through the reactions of a tiny axolotl companion. The current service may include daily mood check-ins, Mood Aura, growth and bond expression, Today Plan task/routine management, Records-based review, Shop-based skin and app-icon choices, and Settings flows for reminders and backup restore. Melo is intended for wellness and self-reflection and does not replace medical diagnosis, mental-health treatment, counseling, or emergency services.

2 License to Use the Service

thenovary grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use Melo on devices you lawfully own or control, solely for personal and non-commercial purposes.

3 Free Trial and Lifetime Pass

The current Melo flow may include a 7-day trial and a lifetime-pass path. After the trial ends, some core functionality may remain available, but features such as full history access, color skins, additional app icons, themes, growth looks, and more detailed reflections may vary depending on lifetime-pass access. Actual billing, restoration, refunds, pricing, and product configuration may follow the in-app listing and the policies of the Apple App Store or Google Play when the released version goes live.

4 User Content and Local Device Storage

You are responsible for your use of Melo, including mood records, Today Plan todos and routines, names and profile information, settings, and any backup files you save or share. Because most Melo app data is stored locally on the device, you are responsible for risks related to device changes, app deletion, insufficient storage, or operating-system errors that may result in data loss. Melo does not currently provide a developer-operated cloud sync or recovery service for user data.

5 Permissions and Device Features

Melo may use device or platform features such as notification permission for reminders, file-selection and storage access for backup export and import, widget integration, alternate app icons, and in-app review prompts. If you do not grant the required permissions, some features may be limited or may not function properly.

6 Prohibited Conduct

You may not interfere with the normal operation of Melo, improperly bypass paid or limited-access features, attempt unauthorized access, reverse engineer the service beyond what applicable law permits, or copy or commercially reuse in-app content or design assets without authorization.

7 Service Changes and Suspension

thenovary may modify, limit, postpone, or discontinue Melo's features, mood copy, visual elements, release timing, product configuration, pricing, or store information as part of launch preparation and service operation. Certain features may be unavailable temporarily or permanently due to maintenance, operating-system policies, app-marketplace policies, or third-party service conditions.

8 Content and Intellectual Property

The app concept, character, lines, UI, visual elements, icons, aura expressions, related design assets, and source code contained in Melo belong to thenovary or the respective rights holders. They may not be copied, distributed, sold, modified, or commercially reused without permission.
